What is a PS Vita Bounty?
PS Vita Bounty is a way to support PS Vita Developers. They put a lot of time and effort into making a ports and bounties serve as an incentives for them to work on a specific game/port. If they are able to successfully port the game the bounty will be awarded to them!
How to create a PS Vita Bounty?
It is very easy. Go to my Ko-Fi Page and make a donation in a value you would like to make a bounty for and in a comment write the game that you are contributing towards. For example you want to make a $10 bounty for NFS MW Mobile. Go to Kofi and donate $10 and in a comment write - Bounty for Need for Speed Most Wanted Mobile. IMPORTANT - If you are creating a brand new bounty, please, first check whether or not the game is portable. You can easily find out its portability by going to the Vita Nuova discord. Go to #suggested-ports and look for your game of choice (use search bar). If it is there you can see its feasibility straight away, if not go to #is-it-portable and suggest a new port to find out. For the sake of good manners only PS Vita Bounties with at least $10 are considered as active and listed in here
If you donate to the bounty that was already created the amounts will be added together and the total amount will just normally increase
Donations are non refundable. In rare case scenario it can be transferred to the different bounty but only if we have certainty nobody is working on it. This is done via DMs on Kofi.
When a donation is made it is in gross amount. There is about 10% fee for using PayPal/Stripe and 20% Tax. I am deducting it a I am adding a net amount to the bounty website. That means if you donate $10 expect about $7 to be added to the bounty.
How to claim a Bounty?
If you are a developer and you want to claim a PS Vita Bounty, first, make sure the game is in a state ready for an official release. That means it can be considered a version 1.0 - everything works properly, no glitches, no bugs, framerate is acceptable, plus if there are some additional requirements like dual aiming support (touch+joystick). If it is ready, just release it to the public (GitHub, Discord, VitaDB, Reddit, anything as long as it is public) and let me know (dm or tag on discord, email, twitter). I will install it, check it, and if everything is okay, the bounty is yours. It can be paid directly to your PayPal or to bank account. The prize amount shown on the bounty site is in net amount, meaning what you see is what you get.
